Planet Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse - IV Venous Access in the Boston MA area
Shift: Rotating 36 per week
Job Description & Requirements:
COVID - Vaccinated. No exemptions MA RN LICENSE REQUIRED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION COVID vaccine + Booster required - Medical exemption acceptable Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions are acceptable MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AND BE HIGHLY SKILLED IN PLACING PIV - 5+ years of experience required Venous Access Team - 12H rotating Days and Evenings (1500-0300 and 0700-1900) - every other weekend required The role would include being a resource across the medical center in placing venous access lines and care for various venous access devices. It would also include advising best options and care for a multitude of vascular access devices such as temporary lines / PICC lines, tunneled catheters and indwelling chest ports inclusive of a review and assessment of patients’ total clinical picture and recommendations for most appropriate vascular access . MA license (MUST HAVE IN HAND AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION) CPR-AHA NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Start date: ASAP starts-at least 4 weeks out for compliance Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday) NM to interview and offer Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last year will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered
