We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a travel position in Fort Wayne, IN. Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights, 3pm - 3am
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
Valid Indiana State or Compact RN License
BLS certification through AHA
Responsibilities
Provide general medical and surgical nursing care
Conduct assessments and care planning
Communicate effectively with inter-professional healthcare teams
Utilize EHR systems, specifically Epic charting
Manage IV therapy, heparin and insulin drips
Operate equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, and feeding tubes
Float to areas in greatest need within the medical units
