Seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a travel position in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and fast-paced clinical environment, providing care to patients with various medical conditions and procedures.
Job Details
  • Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Zip: 46845)
  • Start Date: June 16, 2025
  • End Date: September 15, 2025
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour nights, 3pm - 3am
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Valid Indiana State or compact RN license
  • BLS certification through AHA
Responsibilities
  • Provide general medical and surgical nursing care
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with inter-professional healthcare teams
  • Utilize electronic health records (Epic charting)
  • Manage IV therapy, wound vacs, feeding pumps, and other medical equipment
  • Float to areas in greatest need within the medical units
