Job Details
  • Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Zip: 46845)
  • Start Date: June 16, 2025
  • End Date: September 15, 2025
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7am to 7pm
  • Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year Med/Surg hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Valid IN State or Compact RN License
  • BLS Certification through AHA
  • Previous neuro experience and NIHSS certification required
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with chronic illnesses, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders
  • Perform assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication
  • Utilize EHR, IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding pumps, and other medical equipment
  • Manage heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring
  • Float to areas in greatest need within medical units
  • Participate in Jump Start orientation, including Epic classes
