Join our dynamic healthcare team in Akron, OH, as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse. This travel nursing position offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills in a 32-bed Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry unit specializing in Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).   • Location: Akron, OH, 44304
  • Start Date: June 15, 2025
  • End Date: September 13, 2025
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU/Telemetry nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
  • Proficiency in Epic systems within the last year
  • Ability to float as needed
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients in a Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry unit
  • Draw blood and start IVs
  • Administer heparin drips and blood products
  • Interpret EKGs and monitor rhythm changes
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during day shifts and 1:5 during night shifts
