Join our healthcare team as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a travel position at a leading medical facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population with various medical and surgical needs in a dynamic environment.
Job Details
Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Zip: 46845)
Duration: 13 weeks (June 16, 2025 - September 15, 2025)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
Valid Indiana State or compact RN license
BLS certification through AHA
Experience in a large hospital setting (+600 beds) is preferred
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with chronic illnesses, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders
Perform assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication
Utilize EHR, IV pumps, wound vacs, and other medical equipment
Manage heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy, and patient monitoring
Float to areas in greatest need within the medical units
