Job Details
  • Location: Fort Wayne, IN
  • Start Date: June 30, 2025
  • End Date: September 29, 2025
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Duration: 13-week contract
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910-$1960
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Valid Indiana State or compact RN license
  • BLS certification through AHA
  • Previous neuro experience and NIHSS certification required
Responsibilities
  • Provide general medical and surgical nursing care
  • Conduct assessments and care planning
  • Communicate effectively with inter-professional healthcare teams
  • Utilize EHR systems, including Epic charting
  • Manage IV therapy, wound vacs, feeding tubes, and chest tubes
  • Administer heparin and insulin drips
  • Float to areas in greatest need within the medical units
  • Participate in Jump Start orientation program
