Job Description

Planet Healthcare is looking for multiple Interventional Radiologic Techs in the Milwaukee, WI area.

Shift: 40 hours per week. Various shift options to choose from! No floating required.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. 2 8s 2 12s, 5 8-hour shifts, or 4 10-hour shifts

Weekends: Once every 5th weekend - subject to change. 
Holidays: 1 per year

Job Description & Requirements:
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP Pending compliance
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • 1 year of experience required - will accept a first time traveler with IR Experience
  • EPIC Radiant Charting
  • Ability to scrub and circulate required
  • Skills required:
    • Scrubbing and panning simultaneously, experience with General IR cases above
    • Would prefer them be comfortable with charging/coding for procedures but not required
  • Patients seen in a day:
    • Around 40-50 patients a day on average
  • Patient Types:
    • Department is staffed 24/7
    • All adults, no peds
    • General IR: Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central line/piccs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filter, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoras/paras; CT Room supported by IR - cryos, CT biopsies, drains, etc.; AAA intervention experience preferred
    • Neuro IR (experience preferred, but not required): strokes, DSA, embolization, WADA test, spinal angios
  • Siemens and GE equipment – experience preferred
  • Other equipment (experience not required): IVUS, Ultrasound (GE), Laser, Bovie for some port removals, Angiojet
  • Scrubs provided
  • Free parking!
  • Active ARRT, WI License, and AHA BLS required
