Location: Wilkes Barre, PA 18702 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
Facility: Hospital – Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Contract
Start Date: August 18, 2025
End Date: October 26, 2025
Duration: 10 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (8-hour day shifts)
On Call: 2 days per week and every third weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,020–$3,100
Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Current ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent Technologist certification required
Proven experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and clinical support
Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Cath Lab Tech Responsibilities
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate, calibrate, and maintain cath lab equipment and imaging systems
Monitor patient status and provide clinical support before, during, and after procedures
Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
Participate in scheduled on-call coverage for urgent cardiac cases
Maintain a safe, sterile, and compliant environment in the cardiac cath lab
