OB RN- Labor & Delivery
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: asap
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Shift Requirements: 12-hour day/night variables
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend, holiday rotations.Â
Required Certifications: Mandatory: BLS, Advanced NRP, WI RN license or Compact
 Preferred Certifications: Ahwonn and Pals
Minimum Experience: 2 years in OB with L&D experience.
1 travel assignment REQUIRED
: Critical access hospital experience highly preferredÂ
Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED
Required Skillset: Â Labor and Delivery competent
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 2 labor rooms; 6 post-partum. Level 1 maternity/Level 1 nursery as well as post-op GYN patients. Our birth rate is ~ 100 annually. Month to month is highly variable.  Patient Ratio – we try to adhere to AWHONN guidelines (L/D nurse should be familiar with this).
Average Daily Census: Highly variable. Average monthly delivery rate is ~ 10/month.Â
